    Ghost voltages occur when energized circuits and non-energized wiring are located close to each other, such as in the same conduit. This condition allows capacitive coupling between the wiring to occur. When you place your multimeter leads between the open circuit and the neutral, you complete the circuit and your meter will measure coupled voltage that isn't really there.

      Power and harmonics
      The 125 measurements are extended to include power measurements VA, VAR, W and PF (power factor) plus Harmonics. Power is measured on single-phase or balanced three-phase, three-wire systems (in delta set-up). To troubleshoot motor windings the 125 resistance has been increased to include a 50 ohm range with a resolution of 0.01 ohms.
