  • API 7010G

    The API 7010 G accepts a frequency input and provides an optically isolated DC voltage or current analog output that is linearly proportional to the input.

    The full 3-way (input, output, power) isolation between input and output makes this module useful for ground loop elimination, common mode signal rejection or noise pickup reduction.

    Also standard on the API 7010 G is an 18 VDC input excitation supply.  If needed, this supply can be used to power a passive sensor, eliminating the need for an additional external power supply.

    Common applications include frequency to DC conversions from frequency output type devices such as rotary encoders, magnetic pick-ups, variable speed drives and flow meters.

    The API 7010 G can also be used to convert a PLC pulse rate output to a proportional analog signal.

  • APD 7010

  • APD 7580

    The APD 7580 accepts a frequency input and provides an optically isolated DC voltage or current output that is linearly related to the input.

    Common applications include frequency to DC conversions from frequency output type devices such as rotary encoders, magnetic pick-ups, proximity sensors, variable speed drives, and flow meters.  For PLCs that do not have analog outputs, often the pulse rate of a discreet output can be programmed to vary.  By connecting the APD 7580 to this output, a proportional analog signal can be generated.  A 15 VDC power supply is provided to power the sensor input, if required.

    Common applications include frequency to DC conversions from frequency output type devices such as rotary encoders, magnetic pick-ups, proximity sensors, variable speed drives, and flow meters.  Also a PLC pulse rate can be programmed to vary and converted to an analog signal by the API 7580 G.

    An 18 VDC power supply is provided to power the sensor input, if required.

  • USC701

    The USC701 is a universal signal conditioner that combines measurement and control functions in a single instrument to provide user selectable solutions for most signal conditioning applications.  The USC701 can be programmed directly using the Access Module or a personal computer.  The user can also adjust basic calibration functions such as: -zero, span and trip point via a function switch and digital encoder accessible on the lid.  The USC701 has a comprehensive range of user selectable hardware options.  These include dual analogue inputs, dual digital inputs, current or voltage retransmission, sensor supply and isolated trip relays.  The USC701 provides a substantial range of software functionality.  These include maximum demand control, dual input functions with A*B, A/B, A+B, A-B, largest of A and B, average of A and B, 100 point linearize, PID control, speed measurement, and digital filter options.

  • QLPI731

    The QLPI731 is a four channel loop powered isolator that combines signal isolation and conversion in one compact package.  Using SMD (Surface Mount Device) technology the QLPI731 offers an economical solution combining a range of options with accuracy and flexibility.  Due to its width of only 15 mm per channel and the 35 mm DIN-Rail mounting the QLPI731 is ideal for "nestmounting" in field enclosures or as a "space saver" in larger control cabinets.  The base unit features selectable process inputs, range changing is achieved using internal solder pads.  Standard output is 4-20mA with a wide supply range of 7.5 to 38 Vdc enabling 12V battery supply in automotive applications.  Double surge protection is standard with all series 700 loop powered transmitters to prevent failure due to spikes induced by DC switched inductive loads.  Final calibration is trimmed using internal zero and span trim adjustments.  Front mounted LEDs verify the function of each channel.
